Global Governance

If our focus upon global security identifies the major threats to international order in today's world, our interest in global governnace reflects a determination to conceive of new ways to meet and control these threats.The once-radical idea of global government is now becoming a mainstream feature of contemporary scholarship in international politics and world affairs. Members of the centre are currently engaged in major projects in this new field, including studies on global governance and cosmopolitan democracy, world government and the nuclear threat, and the institutional management of the global economy.
